Two former SCAS Pro Futura Scientia Fellows, Christofer Edling (Sociology;
Lund University) and Sofia Lodén (French; Stockholm University), have been
appointed members of the Swedish Government’s new Research Committee.
The committee will act as adviser to the government between 1st September 2023
and 30th September 2024. and will, among other things, provide advice during the
preparation process of the upcoming research and innovation policy bill.

Christofer Edling was in residence at the Collegium in the spring of 2004, whereas
Sofia Lodén spent the academic year 2018-19 and the spring term of 2022 here.
